Cristopher Cichocki (Circular Dimensions) harnesses elements of the natural world and industrial mutation as primary mediums, alongside original compositions steeped in electronic psychedelia & ambient sonics.
Since 2005 Cichocki has garnered critical praise in the Los Angeles underground scene for his visceral audiovisual sets, culminating with the 2016 debut of Circular Dimensions at the Palm Springs Art Museum. At the 2022 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival Cichocki showcased his 5-story tall Circular Dimensions x Microscape, constructed of 25,000 feet of PVC tubes. This pavilion transformed from day-to-night as an ever-evolving audiovisual performance utilizing L-ISA immersive hyperreal sound by L-Acoustics. Hailing from the sun-dazed desert of California’s Coachella Valley the artist has exhibited his work in a wide spectrum of museums and festivals that include: Museum of Image & Sound (Sao Paulo), Desert Daze (Joshua Tree / Lake Perris), Biennale Urbana (Venice), Casa França Brasil (Rio de Janerio), Human Resources (Los Angeles), Platforme (Paris), Museum of Photographic Arts (San Diego), The PASEO Project (Taos), SXSW (Austin), Museum of Moving Image (New York), Without Walls Festival (San Diego), Coachella Music and Arts Festival (Indio).
